Mother's Circle

Imagine a world where motherhood was a shared journey among women who uplifted, inspired, and empowered each other in a nurturing and compassionate space. Creating a more supportive and less overwhelming experience.

In Eastern traditions, the journey of motherhood is embraced within a tribe, a tight-knit community, or a caring village. Raising a child is seen as a sacred endeavour, cherished and honoured by a network of women within the family, each playing a vital role in supporting the new mother. Yet today, many mothers find themselves navigating this journey alone.

  • Do you crave time for yourself?

  • Do you wish for a safe nurturing space to share your thoughts and feelings without being judged?

If you resonate with these feelings, then a mother’s circle is the right place for you.

Mother Circles are designed to provide a haven of support and love. A space where women can embark on a journey of self-discovery, healing and empowerment. To be held, heard and witnessed within a group of other mammas. When you take time for yourself, prioritising your needs and allowing space for your healing journey, you are able to show up for your family in a more centred and creative way. When mamma thrives, the family thrives too.

These gatherings are open to all mamma’s… new mammas, experienced mammas, expectant mammas, and those on the path to motherhood. They aim to uncover, process, and heal old wounds related to motherhood and womanhood.

Please note that while Mother circles offer emotional support, they are not a substitute for medical advice or treatment.

What to expect from a mother’s circle

Meditation - Guided meditations promoting relaxation and body awareness by focusing on breath or visualisations. Allowing space to check in with your thoughts and feelings.

Embodied movement - Gentle yoga and movements designed to alleviate physical discomfort, helping you feel rejuvenated. An opportunity to move from your heart, release tension and ignite your inner fire through yoga, dance or shaking.

A sharing circle - A safe space without judgement, where you can voice how you feel and be heard and witnessed. Share your joys and challenges on your motherhood journey and find support from other mammas.

Relaxation - Guided relaxation to provide your body and mind with the essential rest that is so needed. It's time to disconnect from the demands of motherhood.

Ritual - It provides a sense of structure, bonding, and emotional support, helping you to find solace and strength in shared traditions and experiences.

Community - Create connections and build a village of support, offering a safe and authentic space where you can feel that you are not alone on this journey.

The mother's circle will be held the first Sunday of each month. The next one is Sunday 5th May 2024 10 -11.30am.

This will be a group of up to 10 mammas. A place where you can come and talk about your feelings and experiences of motherhood without judgement. Creating a safe and nurturing space to support one another.

There will be a whatsapp group that will provide a continuous connection and support between the monthly sessions.

Everything spoken about is to be kept within the circle. Confidential sharing and the ability to trust each other creates a beautiful and powerful experience that promotes healing.

An altar will be present, you're welcome to bring something special to each gathering.

The energy exchange for this experience is £10 with a 50p booking fee.

The circles will be held in Falmouth, at The Yoga Hut - 26 Berkeley Vale TR11 3PH
